Full job description

With a fleet of 3,000 cycles, our Cycle Centre is a thriving hub and a key part of the Center Parcs experience. Our dedicated team is responsible for ensuring our cycles and equipment are ready to hire out to our guests twice per week.

CYCLE CENTRE ASSISTANT | £11.60 per hour

As part of the Cycle Centre team, you will be required to deliver excellent service to our guests when allocating cycles and selling cycle accessories from the Cycle Centre shop.

This is a practical customer-facing role, requiring a cheerful and confident communicator, who would relish the chance to undertake a busy and physically demanding job that’s right at the heart of village life.

HOURS OF WORK

We have the following contracts available on a flexible basis. This means that your hours and days of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.

• 64 hours per 4-week period - Permanent contract

• 64 hours per 4-week period - Fixed-term contract until 5th September 2024

As our Village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public/bank holidays, and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis. Shifts will typically fall on Mondays and Fridays between 7 am and 8 pm.

Essential requirements:

• Good communication skills

• Ability to perform under pressure

• Friendly, genuine, and warm toward guests and colleagues

• Works well in a team

Desirable requirements:

• Full UK driving license with experience of driving with a trailer

• Previous experience of working in a customer service environment
