Have you had experience working in a warehouse setting? Are you passionate about providing outstanding service and eager to collaborate within a team while also exercising your own initiative? If so, we may have an ideal opportunity for you as a Warehouse Assistant/Driver.


We are CCF, the premier nationwide distributor of insulation and interior building products and solutions for the construction industry. We supply drywall, ceilings, flooring, and fire protection materials to building specialists, contractors, and builders through a network of over 35 branches.


No prior experience in our sector or familiarity with our products is necessary, as we will offer comprehensive onboarding and induction training.


What will I be doing?



  • particularly within a warehouse team that operates in a high-demand specialist environment. My responsibilities will include ensuring that sufficient arrangements are in place for customer deliveries, optimizing the branch layout, and upholding standards related to safety, storage efficiency, cleanliness, and product accessibility for customers.


  • I will be tasked with loading company vehicles systematically and efficiently to prevent stock damage and reduce delivery times. It is essential that the manifest accurately reflects the parcels before loading, including cross-dock orders.


  • I will ensure the safe and accurate delivery of orders to customers' locations, conducting visual inspections of the stock to confirm its condition before obtaining a proof of delivery signature.


  • Additionally, I will assist in preparing orders for delivery, which includes picking, checking, and packing items. I will also support various production activities within the warehouse as directed by the management team.


  • I will be responsible for the safe and accurate return of stock, which involves visually inspecting and signing for all customer returns. Completing daily and weekly paperwork, including declarations, will also be part of my duties, along with contributing to the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment.


  • I will adhere to all site Health & Safety regulations and ensure that proper manual handling techniques are consistently applied. Furthermore, I will be expected to effectively plan and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
