Position title: Channel Marketing Manager • Sharpie, Parker
Location: London (Hammersmith), UK
Reports to: Senior Marketing Manager, FW _38_ EDW
Contract type: Permanent, full-time, hybrid working system

Your Role _38_ Team in a Nutshell

As a Channel Marketing Manager, will be pivotal in achieving this year's business goals and preparing for the next within a specified region. Your role involves adapting global strategies to regional markets, collaborating with various departments to drive sales, analyzing business trends for growth, engaging consumers to increase purchases, and using digital insights to boost omnichannel performance.
Based in our office in London, we will be part of an international Marketing team of five, working with iconic brands like Parker, Sharpie, Paper Mate, Elmers, and others.

We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Tailoring Global Strategies: Adapt the global brand strategy to fit regional marketing and business objectives.

  • Regional Brand Management: Develop and implement regional brand, distribution, and merchandising strategies.

  • Portfolio Development: Define and manage the regional product portfolio, focusing on core offerings and innovations.

  • Financial Performance: Support the leadership team in achieving the region•s P_38_L goals and delivering revenue and profit targets.

  • Budget Oversight: Manage the regional advertising and promotion budget effectively.

  • Marketing Campaigns: Support public relations and brand communication plans, including activating local advertising campaigns.

  • Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics to inform the innovation pipeline and improve product assortment, focusing on increasing market share and margins. Calculate the ROI of events, advertising, and projects.

  • Competitive Analysis: Regularly study competitors to inform pricing and promotional strategies.

  • Sales Support: Assist local sales and marketing teams in expanding distribution channels.

What You•ll Need

Minimum:

  • Demonstrated experience in brand activation management, trade/channel management, and brand management with strong retail and online experience in FMCG or Consumer Packaged Goods sectors

  • Experience diagnosing business performance using tools like Nielsen, IRI/Circana, NPD, or other systems measuring POS and shipment data

  • Fluent in English (written _38_ spoken)

  • Good command of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Your advantage:

  • Exposure to consumer insights and leveraging analytics of primary and secondary research, emerging trends, POS results and competitor/category actions

  • Excellent communication skills • both written and verbal

  • Convey complex issues with strong communication and presentation skills.
