About the role


This role is a 9-month MAT cover with the potential to go permanent


As part of the marketing team, you will be instrumental in delivering the SFG20 marketing plan and measuring its success. This hands-on, digitally focused role involves communicating with customers, internal stakeholders, prospects, and the wider market. The projects you work on will directly impact SFG20's growth by raising the company profile and generating leads that result in revenue. You will have a strong focus on social media, lead generation, and website management, using platforms like LinkedIn, Cognism, and HubSpot to achieve your goals.

You will be instrumental in:
Lead Generation:
  • Implement and manage lead generation strategies using tools like Cognism to achieve monthly targets.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Generation Marketing Manager to nurture leads through email campaigns and optimize conversion rates.
Email Marketing:
  • Create and execute automated email campaigns in HubSpot (client updates, prospect campaigns, lead nurturing, new product launches).
  • Analyse campaign performance (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and optimize for results.
Social Media:
  • Partner with the Content Manager to double our social following, especially on LinkedIn.
  • Develop and schedule engaging daily social media content.
  • Implement audience-building strategies, participate in relevant LinkedIn groups, and drive employee advocacy engagement.
  • Plan and execute an influencer program.
  • Conduct ROI analysis using LinkedIn and HubSpot data to make data-driven recommendations.
  • Manage and implement the YouTube strategy, including content creation, repurposing existing content, audience building, SEO, and thumbnail design.
  • Stay up-to-date on social media trends and present recommendations based on performance and conversions.
Website & Landing Pages:
  • Assist with website management tasks (content uploads) and ensure brand consistency.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Generation Marketing Manager to design, develop, and launch high-converting landing pages.
  • Track and analyze landing page performance metrics to optimize for conversions.

Customer Reviews & Campaign Analysis:
  • Develop and implement a plan to gather positive customer reviews and monitor/analyze sentiment to maintain a positive online reputation.
  • Utilise HubSpot, Google Analytics, and CRM data to measure marketing campaign effectiveness, identify trends, and make recommendations for future campaigns.

Essential experience

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced marketing role
  • Demonstrated experience in running e-marketing campaigns
  • Demonstrated experience of web content management
  • Experience of social media accounts for businesses
  • Proficiency with: CRM, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, HubSpot (CMS, Email automation, Dashboard reporting, Social Media), Canva

Desirable

  • Degree in marketing or business management
  • B2B marketing
  • Proficiency in HubSpot email automation & CMS
  • Industry exposure to Cloud-based software / the built environment sector/building compliance

All candidates must be able to demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK. We are unfortunately not able to offer sponsorship. Documentary evidence will be required.
