About the Role:

Sport & Commercial Services Division

Catering and Hospitality Assistant (Kitchen Porter and Stores)

REF: GG663

Salary will be £21,565 per annum (£11.44 per hour).

Catering & Hospitality Assistants are vital in UEA's 'The Campus Kitchen', offering crucial support for our outlets and hospitality department.


In this role, you will:

  • Ensure our kitchens, pots, pans, and equipment remain clean and prepared for use.


  • supply kitchen assistance at the top level of food service.


  • help with storing items and making deliveries.


  • finish cooking duties


Is this role for me?


We need someone who can efficiently handle their time in a fast-paced environment and has a positive outlook. You must show excitement and be ready to assist your team.


Having prior experience in catering and hospitality is recommended, however, it is not required. Having a complete UK driving permit is preferred but not necessary.


You must work 5 days out of the 7, including day, weekend, and evening shifts.
