The Role

As part of the External Engagement team, you will play a key role in executing our 2021-2025 strategy. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring that our website content aligns with our organizational goals and captivates our target audiences, including adult learners at all stages of life. You'll lead the creation of clear, concise, and compelling content that reflects our tone of voice, enhances user experience, and is optimized for SEO.

In addition, you'll collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and consistency, providing guidance to stakeholders on aligning content with strategic objectives. Your role will also involve maintaining website content processes, ensuring compliance with brand standards and regulations, and continuously seeking opportunities to implement industry best practices.


Location and Working Arrangements

This position is based at Madingley Hall, just outside Cambridge. We practice a hybrid working model, and you will be expected to be in the office two days a week. We are open to considering flexible working arrangements, as reasonably necessary for the proper performance of your duties. Work hours will be agreed upon with your manager.

Interviews will be held on Wednesday, 2 October 2024, at Madingley Hall. If you are invited to interview, you will be asked to complete a written exercise beforehand and submit examples of your previous work.

This is a fixed-term position, with funding available for 2 years initially. We welcome applications from internal candidates interested in a secondment from their current role within the University. Applications for part-time or other flexible working arrangements are also welcome.
