About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and inspirational individual to join our BA (Hons) Fashion Communication team. As part of the distinguished Fashion subject area at AUB, this course is dedicated to preparing students for successful careers in various domains of fashion communication, including styling, publication, art direction, graphic design, content creation, media, and marketing.

Our approach to education emphasizes practical, applied learning, facilitated through close collaboration with the BA (Hons) Fashion course and other creative disciplines within the university. As a member of our dedicated course team, you will contribute to a dynamic learning environment that values open-mindedness and adaptability in teaching practices.

We are particularly interested in candidates who possess both theoretical and practical expertise in areas such as photography, filmmaking, graphic design, and styling. Your professional background should include experience in image-making for media and marketing campaigns relevant to the practice of Fashion Communication. This experience will be instrumental in guiding our students as they navigate the complexities of the industry.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to engage in the following responsibilities:

  1. Teaching and Learning:

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Professional Experience: A strong background in fashion communication, with a proven track record of professional experience in related fields.

  • Academic Credentials: A relevant academic qualification at a minimum of a master’s level, alongside teaching experience at the degree level.

  • Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive knowledge of software specific to fashion communication disciplines, including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite, photography, and video editing tools.

  • Enthusiasm and Motivation: A passionate and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with the ability to inspire and engage students from diverse backgrounds.
