Position Overview: Milk Collection Driver

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Milk Collection Driver for our Transport Depot in Dunman, Cookstown. This role is crucial to our operations, as you will collect milk from dairy farms on an established route and deliver it to end customers. Additionally, you may undertake secondary milk haulage to various locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Milk Collection and Delivery: Efficiently collect milk from designated dairy farms and deliver it to our customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Secondary Haulage: Occasionally transport milk to various locations, supporting our logistics operations as required.
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating the vehicle. Ensure compliance with relevant legal and industry standards.
Customer Service: Maintain professional relationships with dairy farmers and customers, representing Dale Farm with integrity and courtesy.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any issues promptly.

Qualifications and Experience

Driving Licence: Hold a current, clean LGV (C+E) driving license.
Certifications: Possess an up-to-date CPC card and digital tachograph card.
Experience: Previous experience in milk collection or a similar role is advantageous, but not essential. A strong willingness to learn and adapt is valued.
Flexibility: Demonstrate the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and early starts, to meet the demands of the role.
