We operate a bustling 24-hour store, always ready to serve our customers at any time of the day or night. As part of our night crew, you'll help ensure that the store is fully stocked, organized, and ready for customers when they walk in the door each morning.

Key Responsibilities as a Trading Assistant

As a Trading Assistant, you'll be at the core of our overnight operations. Your main duties will include:

1. Replenishing Stock: You’ll be responsible for restocking shelves and ensuring all products are available for customers the next day. This includes checking for product availability, arranging items neatly, and ensuring everything is in its right place.

2. Date Checking on Fresh Produce and Groceries: As part of ensuring the best customer experience, it will be crucial to monitor product expiration dates. You’ll check the dates of all fresh produce and groceries, removing any items that don’t meet our high standards of quality and freshness.

3. Unloading Deliveries: Deliveries come through overnight to ensure the store is ready for the day. You’ll be helping to unload deliveries and process new stock, making sure that everything gets to its designated area quickly and efficiently.

4. Utilizing Technology: Technology plays a key role in this job. You'll be using store systems to track inventory, update stock levels, and check deliveries. Being comfortable with technology is essential, as it will help you work more effectively.

5. Working at Pace: The night shift is always busy! You’ll need to work quickly and stay on your feet throughout your shift to ensure all tasks are completed before the store opens in the morning.

6. Teamwork and Independence: You’ll be working as part of a close-knit night team, but there will also be times when you’ll need to use your own initiative and work independently. We trust our night shift team members to be reliable, proactive, and dedicated to keeping the store running smoothly.

7. Customer Experience Focus: While you’ll have less direct interaction with customers than your daytime colleagues, you will still play an important role in creating an outstanding shopping experience. Attention to detail, organization, and a focus on quality will ensure our customers find everything they need, in perfect condition, every time they visit.

Please note that if your shifts cover hours earlier than 6am or later than 11pm, you must be at least 18 years old.
