AV Support Officer


Location: Blavatnik School of Government, Oxford


Blavatnik School of Government is one of the global leaders who devotedly work towards improving public policy and governance across the globe, and now we have an AV Support Officer joining our team in providing essential AV and IT support to our research, teaching, and professional services activities.

As an AV Support Officer, you would be the first port of call within our vibrant School for AV and IT support. The position covers the setup of AV equipment in meetings and teaching rooms and collaborating with the AV Manager in events. You would help design and maintain AV systems, and there's flexibility in terms of working hours because working hours can be planned between 8 am and 8 pm; however, out-of-hours support might sometimes be required.





Key Qualifications:

  • He will bring proven experience in AV support, with deep knowledge of projection, digital signage, recording/editing, and live broadcast technologies.

  • Experience working with collaboration tools, such as Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.

  • Developing a track record of excellent customer service in fast-paced and high-demand academic or corporate environments.

  • Good organizational and prioritizing skills with the ability to work and function well under pressure.
