Position Details:
Lecturer full-time holds the following module of teaching;
Lifestyle and Change in Contemporary Society
Epidemiology: Overview and Role in Improving Public Health
Health promotion and research in the improvement of public health
This teaching role consists of up to 20 periods of teaching per week with 40 minutes per period. Office hour provision is available for lectures to provide one-to-one support for students as well. A full academic year can be divided into two semesters, each lasting 12 weeks, culminating in an assessment period and then marking.
Qualifications:
Applicant Must have a Master's degree in the relevant field or an equivalent degree.
Must have teaching experience, preferably in higher education.
Outstanding ability to deliver interesting and student-centered lessons in the English language.
Experience: Contextualization of learning for the Chinese environment.
CELTA qualification, or any other teaching qualification is a must.
Should be having an IELTS of 7.5 or equivalent.
Salary and Benefits:
Lecturer: 20,710 RMB per month (including a housing allowance of 2,500 RMB).
Senior Lecturer salary: 23,150 RMB/month (plus housing allowance at 2,500 RMB).
Annual increase based on inflation over salary.
International staff are paid a flight allowance and receive visa support.
