Location: Flair Rugs, Glossop, Derbyshire
Flair Rugs is looking to recruit a Circular Economy Specialist with a KTP - an initiative of 28 months duration to lead the transformation on the journey of Flair Rugs and the rug industry towards embedding a sustainable and circular approach. The partnership would collaborate with university academics in developing, validating, and operationalizing a circular business model to elongate the life cycle of rugs through the design of reverse logistics, repair methodologies, and recycling systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement a circular business model that includes take-back schemes and repair or recycling.
Encourage and develop partnerships in a circular textile network.
Drive both environmental and economic value through innovative, sustainable practices.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Textile Engineering (with a sustainability emphasis), or equivalent experience.
Master's or Ph.D. in a related field and CSRM, ESG, or Circular Economy Certifications.
Project management, engaging with stakeholders, and sound problem-solving skills and analyses.
Experience in sustainability technologies and business planning for circular economy initiatives.
