Clinical Skills Tutor - Physiotherapy


Opportunity


We are looking to appoint a full-time clinical skills tutor in Physiotherapy to join our rapidly growing Physiotherapy and AHP team at the University of Salford. You must be an experienced HCPC registered Physiotherapist with a broad range of experience, especially in musculoskeletal practice.


The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for developing the next generation of physiotherapists and experience in the delivery and evaluation of high-quality physiotherapy education.  You will demonstrate excellent communication skills and be a strong team player, dedicated to creating the best possible student experience.


We offer a variety of Physiotherapy programmes and so, the department works flexibly including some evening teaching to cater to the diverse needs of our learners.

Key Responsibilities


  • Provide innovative, engaging, and inclusive Physiotherapy education.

  • Supporting learners in acquiring academic, professional, and personal skills.

  • Those resources contribute to the development of creative, up-to-date, and evidence-based material that inspires learners.

  • Assess performance across a range of methods and provide accurate, detailed and valuable feedback.

  • More importantly, contribute to a variety of activities within the physiotherapy team and University which may involve working with a range of stakeholders.
