Bangor Business School at Bangor University invites applications for a highly competitive fully-funded PhD studentship. We welcome PhD research proposals in all areas of Management and Business (e.g. consumer behavior, organizational behavior, data analytics, tourism, destinations and place engagement, responsible banking, financial innovation, accounting, marketing, business, and management) – please see our list of research interests on our academic staff pages at Bangor Business School.
Eligibility:
You would have qualifications or experience considered equivalent to an honours degree at a first or upper-second-class level, or a qualification in a master's from a UK academic research organisation. Note also that you might be required to provide evidence of your English Language proficiency.
Funding Details:
The ESRC studentship also covers the cost of fees and an annual tax-free living stipend, in line with UKRI minimum rates; currently set at £19,237 for 2024/25. If you are considered to have a disability, you may also be eligible for a Disabled Students' Allowance on top of your studentship. Research Training Support Grant (worth up to £940 per year).
Duration of study:
This master's program depends on prior research experience and training needs, which will be assessed as part of completing an initial DNA at application and a full DNA before award if successful. The length of study will depend on your prior research experience and can be between 3.5-4.5 years studying full-time or part-time equivalent.
