Contract: Full-Time Hours / Permanent

About the Role…
Our Marketing Team is expanding and we have a new opportunity for a Business Communications Executive! Reporting to the Group Commercial Director, you will lead business communications by planning, monitoring and implementing communication initiatives internally & externally to support the needs of the business.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a relevant role and must have experience using a Social Media Content Management System (CMS) and working with business colleagues and professional advisers to meet company communication needs.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Play an active role in creating and sharing marketing and communications collateral including website copy, social media captions, newsletters and any other written communications material as and when requested by the group commercial director.
- Work with the group commercial director, HR and other leadership to implement internal and external communication initiatives.
- Support Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
- Maintain the day-to-day running of the group website and support country websites, including reporting any functional issues to management.
- Conduct content audits to identify gaps and redundancies across various websites.
- Post, monitor and engage on all EG Group social media channels and other platforms to enhance audience engagement.
- Requested and managed graphic design support for communications.
- Act as a company ambassador at all times.
- Coordinate media enquiries if required with the group commercial director or functional leads.
- Provide monthly reports on marketing and communications activities.
- Communicate with target audiences and build and develop relationships.
- Research and analyse current market trends and produce reports.
- Carry out thorough fact-checking and review media content.
- Support CMS administration management and work with content leads in other countries.
- Work with public relations and media monitoring providers to tailor searches and compile reports using the data provided.

Candidate Requirements
- Previous business communications experience / relevant degree
- Experienced technical knowledge of Umbraco, WordPress and other web publishing tools.
- Experience using CMS and working with developers and editors.
- Social media tools like LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
- Competency in SEO and web traffic metrics analysis.
