Executive Assistant to The Founder

Unlock new business growth opportunities and make all operations run like clockwork.

Part-time or full-time, contract role.

The salary for this role is location-based- therefore please let us know your salary expectations and we will be open to talking about it! (Although the absolute limit is £45k)

This role requires incredible organization, attention to detail, good copywriting, and an ability to move fast. Are you the kind of person who does get things done, makes friends wherever you go, and never takes no for an answer? Read on…

The Role

Much of our growth to date has been driven by Lottie’s profile, connections, and conversations. This happens over dinners with other Founders, at networking events, and through her LinkedIn inbox.

Managing this is becoming a big job and there is a lot we can do to work “her” harder. As a key growth driver for both businesses, there’s now a need for full-time support to maximize ‘brand Lottie’ and the opportunities that come through it.

What does this job need to do?

  • Organise Lottie’s life, so she’s always in the right place at the right time. This could be booking meetings & identifying networking opportunities or squeezing in a haircut for her (& ensuring she had some downtime when needed)!

- Manage Lottie’s community - this is replying to LinkedIn comments and having conversations on her behalf. The ability to ghostwrite is important.

  • Seek out profile-building opportunities for Lottie, from podcasts to events, knowing what Lottie's and the Copy Club's audience want to hear about, and finding those special people that others don't even know about yet.

  • Take on ad hoc tasks, from formatting presentations to sending contracts, to research tasks.

How will we measure success?

- Lottie’s stress levels (don’t worry… this isn’t all your problem) - in short, we need to all agree that she couldn’t do what she does without you

  • Efficient management of all processes, from ensuring all meetings get set up, to the evidence we’ve built and automated effective sales processes.

The Details...

This role is an internal ops function, while you’ll be reporting directly to Lottie (CEO) you’ll have pastoral care from Bee (Head of People)

This role is fully remote and doesn’t need to be UK-based. Note, that we are not covering travel costs to return to the UK for team-building, so if you’re based outside the UK you might feel independent.

Who we’re looking for:

The ideal candidate would have experience as an EA to a Sales Director.

You'll have…

Experience working with a busy founder as a Personal Assistant or the equivalent. This includes but is not limited to diary and email management, travel booking, and any personal requests.

  • Strong organization skills and know how to juggle multiple plates.

- The ability to ghostwrite for anyone - especially Lottie.

  • A real curiosity for tech and automation, and always looking for hacks to do things faster.

  • A strong written and verbal communicator

  • Resilient and comfortable moving very fast

- Autonomous - we have a very supportive culture but this role won’t have to be held

We would consider part-time for this role.

Perks:

The package depends on the individual and whether they are UK-based FTE or remote contractors. We’ll endeavor to mirror our handbook in full for anyone who joins the business.

25 days holiday (and bank holidays) plus a bonus day at Christmas & your birthday.

Enhanced Paternity/Maternity leave/pay

Monthly working-from-home budget

Unlimited coaching with MoreHappi

Our commitment to inclusion:

We want you to feel you belong here and we welcome candidates from all backgrounds. Our organisation is on a continuous journey to achieve an authentic feeling of belonging, with focused inclusion policies and training. We believe it’s not only the right thing to do, but it’s also right for our community - and our industry. If you feel like you belong, you’re more likely to do your best.

Mental health matters:

Your well-being is really important to us. We have an active mental health policy and believe strongly that this stuff matters. We have private weekly wellness check-ins and have easily actionable steps for taking a mental health sick day. Open communication and conversation about mental health are always welcome and encouraged at Copy Club - we never shy away from the hard stuff.
