A crucial aspect of their job involves active involvement, especially in providing nonprofits and social businesses with the necessary information to make well-informed choices when seeking social funding.
Big Society Capital partially funds Good Finance. It is an online platform available free of charge to assist charities and social enterprises in the UK in understanding social investment.
They interact directly with networks, infrastructure organizations, and leaders through various online tools, resources, programs, case studies, and events.
About the role:
The Digital Marketing Apprentice (Digital Content) is pivotal in aiding the effective distribution of Good Finance content through various marketing channels such as blogs, case studies, events, digital tools, and resources. The main focus is to support social enterprises, charities, and community organizations in understanding the social investment sector.
You will directly report to the Digital Content Manager, with your position falling under the broader Engagement team at Better Society Capital.
You will get to work on thrilling projects, enhancing your abilities with various digital marketing tools. Additionally, participate in team activities such as Christmas and Summer Parties, team outings, training, and volunteering opportunities.
The perfect candidate will work well in a team, be eager to learn, and take responsibility for tasks and projects. The position is ideal for an individual who is enthusiastic and determined to advance in their Digital Marketing career.
Main Responsibilities:
Social media
Develop interesting material to advertise our digital content, tools, and resources on social media platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and X.
Creating valuable, engaging materials for online platforms
Creating blog posts and compiling case studies for the website while taking into account what appeals to our users and SEO.
Organizing and producing podcasts and videos, including editing and creating episodes for our platform
Utilizing Canva for creating visuals to boost new and current content.
Email marketing
Generate interesting email marketing campaigns monthly to ensure user engagement.
Examine user experiences and develop material that targets users at different stages of exploring social finance.
Track email metrics, analyze results, and use insights to increase both open and click-through rates.
Website
Develop and refresh website pages to aid in rebranding efforts.
Utilize Google Analytics 4 for tracking traffic and engagement on pertinent web pages.
Posting fresh material on the site through Drupal
Events
Providing backing for Good Finance at sector events by offering speaking and networking opportunities all year round
Assisting in creating internal events to effectively communicate our work to the broader organization.
Monitor analytics on various social media platforms and compile data for reporting purposes.
Study important measurements and adjust social media material to increase interaction
Investigate opportunities for additional platforms
Entry Requirements:
After registering, you must participate in an online interview with our Talent Team and successfully complete initial assessments in math and English.
You must be located within a reasonable commuting distance to the office address provided.
