Student Communications Officer
Swansea University's Student Partnership and Engagement Services is looking for an imaginative and motivated individual to join our team as a Student Communications Officer. This role would encompass the responsibility of leading dynamic and impactful student communications, which would allow the improvement of the student experience across the University.
Major Job Focus This is content creation and delivery role interesting to students through various channels, very much in close cooperation with key stakeholders, such as the Students' Union, Faculties, Professional Services, and Academies. The appointee will be in charge of the management of communications plans for major student activities, overseeing university-wide campaigns and to support the delivery of the University's commitment to working in partnership with students.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement communication plans for key stages in the student journey.
Have strong relationships with stakeholders to build a robust communications community and share best practices.
Manage content calendars, track engagements through analytics tools, and do competitor analysis to forward-thinking, impactful communications.
Lead in the delivery of student communication campaigns-including the National Student Survey and other engagement activities.
Provide guidance and inspirational support to a small team working toward delivering campaigns and communications.

Experience in exciting and engaging a diverse set of stakeholders.
Pay attention to details and have the ability to protect and uphold the reputation and identity of the university.
