Purpose of the job

The Security Academy team is essential to Liberty Global's information security and transformation program, ensuring that security remains a top priority in achieving our goal of providing future-proof connections.

The Officer responsible for Security Behaviours will create, execute, and manage cybersecurity awareness efforts related to our Security Behaviours Strategy aimed at fostering a security-aware workplace environment, enhancing our security stance.

Communication and cooperation play a key role in the operations of the Academy, as we partner with facilitators and partners throughout the organization to guarantee that cybersecurity is integrated into our foundation and that staff are aware of their responsibility in upholding a safe environment. Playing a vital role in shaping and improving it, involves planning, executing, and evaluating positive security behaviors, as well as creating and distributing customized security awareness materials.

This position is ideal for someone passionate about promoting positive cybersecurity habits, skilled at fostering relationships, and focused on creating a strong security culture that makes a positive impact.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Security Behaviour Change Development and Delivery:

• Taking charge of creating and executing the cybersecurity habits program of activity.

• Developing a deep comprehension of business objectives to positively collaborate with business leadership on enhancing security culture & behavior while effectively prioritizing security and business needs.

• Develop and sustain a structured framework detailing desired security behaviors.

• Meet with top management to confirm consistency between desired security actions and overall security goals.

• Develop and put into practice methods to foster a priority for security among staff at every level – ensuring that employees are enabled to make correct choices effortlessly.

• Conduct routine evaluations to gauge and analyze alterations in security behavior and the level of maturity in security culture.

• Evaluating, examining, and questioning current policies, procedures and processes as needed, and collaborating with business executives to pinpoint crucial areas for enhancing security, making sure that security policies and procedures are understandable, relevant and manageable.

Security Behaviours Officer

Human Risk Management:

• Creating robust connections to gain insight into the broad range of cybersecurity risks present throughout the organization.

• Focusing on Liberty Global Central, being responsible for identifying, evaluating, and handling both new and current human risks while maintaining a balance between security and business goals.

• Keeping the Liberty Technology Security senior leadership team updated on human risk management initiatives and trends, ensuring clear delivery to the business.

• Collaborating with the Security Risk management team to assist in promptly informing security and business leadership (including the MD audience) of human risks.

Employee Training & Awareness:

• Create and provide training programs to promote and strengthen positive cybersecurity habits among staff members.

• Create and implement educational campaigns to ensure employees are aware of both current and upcoming cybersecurity risks and developments.

• Skillfully interact with teams within Group Security to support the successful execution of security awareness campaign initiatives.

• Working closely with the team of Business Information Security Officers:

• Help increase the organization's understanding of new security threats and risks to promote and enhance a strong security culture across the business.

• Help with pinpointing critical aspects for security education and awareness initiatives.
