Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Warehouse operator at Sikla UK, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and accurate management of our warehouse operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Receiving and Processing Orders: You will be responsible for the careful handling and processing of incoming orders. This involves verifying the accuracy of shipments and ensuring that all items are received in good condition and recorded correctly.

• Picking and Packing Orders: Your role will involve selecting and packing items according to order specifications. Accuracy in picking and packing is essential to meet customer expectations and maintain high service standards.

• Loading and Unloading Goods: You will manage the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring that all items are handled safely and efficiently. This task requires physical strength and attention to detail to prevent damage and ensure accurate inventory.

• Accuracy of Deliveries: Checking the accuracy of deliveries to customers, including domestic, export, and industrial projects, will be a key part of your duties. You will need to ensure that all orders are complete and correctly addressed.

• Reporting Mistakes and Discrepancies: If you encounter any mistakes, inaccuracies, or discrepancies in orders or shipments, you will need to report these issues immediately to prevent further complications and ensure timely resolution.

• Using the ERP System: Familiarity with the ERP system for handling small standard processes in the warehouse will be necessary. You will need to navigate the system efficiently to complete tasks and maintain accurate records.

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Experience: Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is essential. Experience in a steel fabrication environment is preferred, as it aligns closely with the nature of our operations.
