Full job description

Air Canada is in search of a dependable and professional Warehouse Attendant to become a part of their team. The Warehouse Attendant interacts directly with the public, other airlines, agencies, and Company personnel by providing cargo warehouse services under Company standards.

As a Warehouse Attendant, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Receiving and delivering cargo and mail while verifying the piece count.

• Ensuring that all related documentation is accurate and that shipments are properly marked and labeled.

• Storing cargo and mail in designated warehouse locations and reporting as necessary.

• Loading and unloading trucks.

• Assembling and disassembling pallets.

• Physically handling cargo and mail, either manually or with machinery.

• Responding to inquiries from the public, other airlines, agencies, and Company staff.

• Delivering transshipments to other airlines as needed.

• Operating company vehicles when required.

• Accepting and processing hazardous or restricted material shipments in compliance with Company and Government Agency regulations.
