About the role
Teaching Assistants will support academic teaching by participating in group teaching, for example, through delivering and facilitating seminars and workshops, and associated student work on modules within the School of Management. Such duties might also include marking coursework and examining examination scripts.
The appointed Teaching Assistant will be responsible to the module leader that they will work with and will be employed on a term-time only contract running from 6th January until 30th June 2025.

About you
Ideally, have at least a Master's degree or equivalent qualifications/ experience in a Management-related field relevant to the course modules you are interested in. Strong understanding of key legal topics relevant to business managers including at least some of the following areas: Contract Law; Employment Law; Intellectual Law; Health and Safety Law; and Business Organisations.
Ability to explain and apply legal concepts in a practical, real-world business context, which shall make the student understand how such areas of law impact managers in day-to-day organizational settings.
Some practical experience of law in practice (e.g., from legal practice, business law advisory roles, or managerial experience)
Sound working knowledge of MS Office packages including Word, Excel, email, and Internet.
Ability to present ideas clearly both verbally and in writing (with proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation), both to students and academic and administrative staff at all levels
Outstanding organizational, and time management ability, along with a keen eye for detail.
