Join our passionate team of Clinical Research Nurses!
We seek a highly motivated nurse to contribute to our dynamic bone research and gastroenterology group within the Centre for Genomics and Experimental Medicine.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in advancing medical research by coordinating a variety of clinical trials, both local and national, ranging from straightforward to highly complex. You will be responsible for:
Leading specific research studies: You will be the primary point of contact for assigned studies, ensuring their smooth operation and adherence to protocols.
Providing exceptional patient care: You will deliver high-quality care and administer study-related treatments to patients in your assigned trials.
Supporting the broader research team: You will collaborate with the academic lead and research nurse manager, acting as an associate nurse for other trials within the unit.

We are looking for a candidate with:
A strong background in nursing with a relevant specialty is a plus.
Experience in clinical research is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A meticulous and organized approach to work.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Research Nurse
Your skills and attributes for success:
First-level registered nurse with 2 years post registration, with research experience, preferred, demonstrating the appropriate competencies and skills for the post
Experience in Gastroenterology preferred but not essential
Educated to degree level or working towards
IT Microsoft Office skills, Word and Outlook, and the confidence to work with database systems
Excellent attention to detail
Research experience including working knowledge of GCP Guidelines, EU Clinical Trials Directive and Research Governance Framework, Data Protection and Freedom of Information Acts
