Lecturer in Business Analytics


Ranked within the top 15 UK business schools on research output, the Norwich Business School is now looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Lecturer in Business Analytics to make contributions to both teaching and research excellence as part of our growing, dynamic academic community.


Role Description: 


As part of the Innovation, Technology, and Operations Management Group, you will help shape future Business Analytics at Norwich Business School, develop a distinctive research profile with clear strengths around the school's skill base, secure third-party funding, and publish in leading academic journals. You will teach Business Analytics courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level, supervise PhD students, and develop powerful partnerships with the business sector.


Main Responsibilities:


* Generate high-quality research outputs, including attracting external research funding.

* Publish in top academic journals and present findings in appropriate forums.

* Teach and develop Business Analytics modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

* Contribute to PhD supervision.

* Engage with the business sector in ways that enhance impact through your research and teaching.





Candidate Requirements:


PhD (or equivalent) in an appropriate field, or near completion (within one year).

A record of teaching and student assessment experience in higher education.

A publication record appropriate for the career stage.

A record of securing research funding.

Leadership potential for academic and business enterprise initiatives.

This is a full-time, permanent post that will be available from 6 January 2025.
