Position: Warehouse Operative (Order Distributor)
Location: HMP Nottingham, Perry Road, Sherwood, Nottingham NG5 3AG
Contract Type: Permanent (Part-Time)
Shift Pattern: Thursday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM and Friday 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Important Notice: This position is based within a prison environment. Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced Security Vetting Process.

About Us

At DHL, we partner with the HMPPS (Her Majesty's Prison and Probation Service) to provide prisoners with the opportunity to order goods using their personal funds. Our role involves the efficient picking, packing, and distribution of these orders. No two days are the same on our HMPPS contract, and you will play a vital role in supporting the rehabilitation of prisoners while working with a diverse team.

Key Responsibilities

• Distribute orders promptly and accurately to inmates on the prison wing.

• Load and unload vehicles upon the arrival of orders at the prison.

• Ensure compliance with all prison rules and regulations.

What We Need From You

• Ability to work effectively in a prison environment alongside inmates.

• Capability to handle manual tasks and lift heavy items.

• Strong communication skills at all levels.

• A current three-year history of UK residency (mandatory for Enhanced Security Clearance).
